Della's dam is Tierra Lakota a 1979 blue roan snowcap fewspot, standing 16.2 hands. She is retired now but in her day she competed and won at recognized Three-Day Events: 1st Novice Level, CTETA 10/89, 5th Training Level, Rancho Murietta 9/89; and first Training Level CTETA 10/99
