This is where I got serious about breeding Foundation Appaloosa horses. We leased 124 acres on the Colville Indian Reservation with hay ground,year around creek, big house, huge barn, nice big pole corrals with run ins, very large pole arena and an endless supply of riding trails built by range cows. It was beautiful. Near Lake Rosevelt but a long way to any small town. I had 23 foundation mares, (I don't know how it ended up so many) and a wonderful stallion, tri-leopard, Box M's Red Pepper. I only bred for no more then 6 foals a year.
